DMTI Spatial Focuses On Greater Coverage, Accuracy, and Detail with CanMap® V6.2

Markham, ON - August 15, 2002 - DMTI Spatial is pleased to announce the release of CanMap® Streetfiles V6.2, CanMap® RouteLogistics V6.2, and CanMap® Rail V1.1.
Released on a quarterly schedule, CanMap Streetfiles V6.2, the mapping base for DMTI Spatial's suite of data and geocoding products, is a testament to its continued focus on increasing its nationwide road fabric, expanding topographic and geographic features, and maintaining its addressed street segment coverage for 87% of the population and named street segment coverage for 99% of the population.
Released on a semi-annual basis, CanMap Rail V1.1 continues to be Canada's only nationwide, 1:50,000 scale, precision-based railway line data. New features include Canada/US border attribution that provides US rail owner /operator, railway station of entry and state that the railway segment enters.
Integrating the value added features of CanMap Rail and CanMap Streetfiles' street addressing and naming, along with routing attribution, makes CanMap RouteLogistics V6.2 the leading choice for users looking to enhance their routing or LBS application. CanMap RouteLogistics empowers the user by generating address based optimal routes, presentation quality maps and 'real street' driving directions.
