Intava Gravity Simplifies Wireless Development for International Markets

BELLEVUE, Wash., Jan 23, 2002 - Intava Corporation, a leading provider of easy-to-use wireless development applications, today announced Intava Gravity(TM) has been expanded to support the most popular wireless devices in Europe and Australia.

Developers worldwide can create mobile Web applications with a single development effort, simulating multiple device types with multi-language content without the complexity or time constraint of numerous programming efforts.

"We are currently working with Intava Gravity to create a mobile billing system that will launch next month, so the added functionality of International simulation is extremely useful," stated Rudolf Booker, Chief Executive Officer of Payvision. "Additionally, by using Intava Gravity, our online initiatives will be available on the most popular devices in multiple languages; thus enabling us to have a global reach to our customer base."

With the addition of the most popular WAP phones from Alcatel (US:ALA), Sagem, Nokia (US:NOK) and Siemens (US:SI), Intava Gravity includes more device simulators than any other wireless Web authoring application. Existing Intava customers can download a preview of this technology in the Intava developer area at no charge. The simulators will be integrated into a new version of Intava Gravity, scheduled later this month.

"Customers need access to the online resources they frequently use, no matter where in the world they may be or what language they may speak," stated Steve Lewis, Vice President of Marketing at Intava. "Allowing complex wireless Web applications to be built easily with a single development effort, while targeting the entire user-base regardless of location, are why developers worldwide prefer Intava Gravity."

Intava Gravity is available for download and purchase at http://www.intava.com. A fully functional 15-day trial version is available, and technical support is free during the evaluation.

Intava's flagship product, Intava Gravity, is an open, extensible platform in which users can rapidly and professionally develop rich mobile applications that are both easy to use and scalable. It provides a modular environment where code can be re-used and shared, and allows developers to target multiple device platforms with a single development effort. Initially supporting both WAP and Palm (Nasdaq:PALM) environments, Intava Gravity will also provide support for Microsoft's Pocket PC platform in January of 2002.
