Smartphones such as the Nokia 7650 (GSM 900/1800MHz) are revolutionizing the way we think about and utilize mobile communications. The Nokia Series 60 Platform is a feature rich software product from Nokia, targeted for the rapidly growing smartphone category. Optimized for the Symbian Operating System, the Series 60 Platform is the foundation of the Nokia 7650 and is available for external licensing by those manufacturing phones with advanced memory and software capabilities. The Series 60 Platform enables innovative, revenue generating, and 3G ready Operator services based on technologies such as Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS), Java, and enhanced WAP/XHTML browsing.
During CTIA Wireless IT in Las Vegas, October 16-18, 2002 please join Nokia for a workshop that will provide an overview of the Series 60 Platform, including product features and benefits, plus insight from Series 60 licensee Siemens. Also covered will be an introduction to Symbian and Series 60-based application development and deployment opportunities, utilizing development tools from Nokia and other leading tool vendors. Attendees will also catch a glimpse into what may be soon forthcoming in terms of Series 60 based devices.
The workshop will be held in the Venetian Hotel on Thursday, October 17 from 1:00 pm - 5:30 pm and is free to all registered Wireless IT attendees.
Take advantage of the Nokia developer workshop pass which will give you a free exhibit package provided you register on-line by October 10. (insert link to registration website) The exhibit package includes access to the show floor plus admission into the keynote sessions, plus the Nokia Workshop. After October 10, all CTIA Wireless IT & Internet Conference registration will take place on-site, and the required fee for on-site registration will include complimentary admission to the Series 60 Platform Workshop for Developers presented by Nokia.
Catch a glimpse of the latest and greatest products from Nokia at CTIA Wireless IT. Join us for a reception on Wednesday, October 16th from 4:00 - 6:30pm, following the Mobile Entertainment Summit and general sessions. The reception is open to all registered CTIA Wireless IT attendees and will be located on the lower floor of the Venetian, directly across from the Casanova Meeting rooms.
