Company announces partnership with Clear Channel Communications and financing
La Jolla, Calif. The company also announced a partnership with one of the nation's largest advertisers, Clear Channel Communications. In a separate release, it announced that it closed a $6.9 million investment round from Bain Capital Ventures and General Catalyst Partners.

Wireless is the fastest growing communications channel in the US with more than 136 million subscribers and a projected 230 million by the end of 2006. In Europe, mobile marketing has achieved response rates as high as 20% and ad recall rates up to 65%. Industry analysts predict that mobile marketing will grow to be a five billion dollar industry by 2004.

The company also announced a re-seller partnership with Clear Channel Communications Boston, part of Clear Channel Worldwide, a global leader in the out-of-home advertising industry with radio and television stations, outdoor displays, and entertainment venues in 66 countries around the world.
