Cash-U Extends Mobile Entertainment Offering with New Multimedia Provisioning System (MPS)

First installation with one of Europe's leading operators expected to take place by the end of the year

London, September 30: Cash-U Mobile Technologies today announced that it has launched its Multimedia Provisioning System (MPS), based on the Pecan's platform technology, for the management and delivery of rich multimedia content, including ring-tones and icons. One of Europe's leading operators has already acquired the new system.

The MPS enables the delivery of numerous media formats, such as EMS, Nokia Smart Messaging, MMS and Java. The MPS contains an advanced content management module that allow operators to receive packaged content from content providers, load and categorise it, before testing and delivering it to users. The content management module also contains a flexible billing interface for end-user billing and content provider settlement.

The Web application enables users to create, manage, and download personal content. For example, users may create icons, compose ringtones, and convert pictures to a media type supported by their device.
