DataViz and Palm, Inc. to Bring Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Files to Palm i705

TRUMBULL, Conn., Jan 28, 2002-- DataViz(R), Inc. today announced that Documents To Go(R) Professional Edition is included on the new Palm(TM) i705 wireless handheld.

With the inclusion of Documents To Go, Palm, Inc.'s much-anticipated new handheld allows customers to create, view, and edit Word and Excel files as well as review PowerPoint(R) files. As handhelds grow far beyond the scope of mere organizers, the ability to work with MS Office files using Documents To Go continues to be a great advantage to customers using Palm Powered(TM) handhelds.

"We are pleased to continue to work with DataViz to offer Palm i705 owners the benefits of Documents To Go Professional Edition," said Kevin Hell, senior vice president of product management, Solutions Group, at Palm, Inc. "The Palm i705 is designed for customers who want to make their office mobile, and Documents To Go ensures easy access to MS Office files so customers can take advantage of any spare moment to get real work done."

Palm, Inc. and DataViz first worked together in March of 2001 with the inclusion of Documents To Go on the Palm m500 and m505 handhelds. The Palm m125, also including Documents To Go, was released in November of 2001; the Palm i705 marks the fourth Palm handheld to include Documents To Go. Palm's decision to provide this functionality to their customers confirms the growing need for instant access to Microsoft(R) Office files on Palm OS(R) based handhelds.

"Throughout our alliance with Palm, we have seen their continuous commitment to developing high quality, easy to use products that combine power with simplicity," said Rob Hoxie, director of business development, DataViz, Inc. "The Palm i705 certainly exemplifies this commitment. Now more than ever, a Palm handheld and Documents To Go combine to make an outstanding productivity tool."

Customers who receive Documents To Go with a Palm handheld are encouraged to contact DataViz within 30 days of purchase to obtain more information regarding special offers for Documents To Go and the Add-On Kit.

About Documents To Go Professional Edition
