BVRP Launches High-Speed Wireless Data Software; Mobile PhoneTools Makes ``Mobile Office'' a Reality
DENVER, Oct 23, 2002 - BVRP Software USA, a leading OEM and after-market provider of PC communications
software, today launched Mobile PhoneTools(R), the latest product in BVRP's range of communications software. Mobile PhoneTools enhances
the productivity of mobile professionals accessing data wirelessly, a group expected to exceed 39 million in 2006 in the U.S., according to research
firm Cahners In-Stat, and makes a "Mobile Office" become a reality.
The Windows-based Mobile PhoneTools provides everything laptop users need to take advantage of high-speed data connectivity over the new
networks. The product includes a connectivity Wizard, a convenient interface that enables voice calls from a laptop, and a suite of mobile
communications applications. Mobile PhoneTools is available directly from BVRP ( http://www.bvrpusa.com) at $59.99, and designed to work
with GPRS PCMCIA Cards or by connecting the user's laptop to a GPRS cellular phone.
Mobile PhoneTools users can send and receive voice calls from their Laptop, with an image of the user's cellular phone model as a fun and intuitive
interface for managing phone functions on the screen. The software also includes a "Wizard" with built in GPRS device profiles to enable
"one-click" high-speed data connectivity configuration.
Mobile PhoneTools was launched in Europe earlier this year as part of the roll-out of high-speed wireless digital cellular services. The U.S. version
is configured to work with all major GPRS networks and supports cellular phones from all leading manufacturers. The software also supports
PocketPC devices that use GPRS ConpactFlash Cards. Additionally, the next version of Mobile PhoneTools also will support CDMA 1X and
UMTS/3G networks.
"Mobile PhoneTools makes it easy for anyone to gain the power of high-speed wireless data," said Bob Lang, president, BVRP Software USA.
"Using Mobile PhoneTools, any laptop user can be surfing or receiving email in seconds without hassles. It also enables the cellular phone and the
laptop to work in tandem to offer enhanced messaging and management features."
Mobile PhoneTools enables PC users to:
-- Text Messaging - Send SMS messages from a standard keyboard
with support for messages of more than standard length (160
characters)

deferred send, mail check
