ALIGO CHANNEL SALES CONTINUES TO FUEL COMPANY'S GROWTH
... PARTNERS WIN AN ARRAY OF NEW CLIENTS
San Francisco - October 23, 2002 - Aligo Inc., a leading provider of
world-class, profit-maximizing mobile business solutions, has secured
substantial new business with four new domestic and international
customers through its distribution relationships. Through its
continually growing stable of channel partners, Aligo's M-1 Mobile
Application Server technology is being integrated into applications that
securely and reliably extend enterprise applications to wireless and
mobile devices. These solutions include a procurement solution for a
major wireless carrier, mobile credit authorization, and a construction
field service application.
Among Aligo's new channel partners is Talaris, a provider of
e-procurement solutions for spend management, which partnered with Aligo
to deliver a solution for one of the largest and most innovative
wireless carriers. Talaris' solution will enable the carrier to control
spend on employee services by enforcing corporate policies and preferred
vendor selections at the point of procurement. The combined Aligo and
Talaris solution provides seamless integration to employee's e-mail
leading to increased adoption rates and greater savings for the carrier.
"We selected Aligo because the company has the most robust, scalable and
flexible technology that seamlessly integrates to our back-end system,
and, in turn, offers the best solution for our customer," said Marc
Spier, Vice President, Business Development, Talaris. "The Aligo
technology met our requirements and will become a critical addition to
our core products."
Other channel partners using Aligo's technology for customer solutions
include McARM, which offers mobile solutions to field workers in the
construction industry, specifically for time and data entry, materials
management, and project tracking. The construction application will
significantly reduce costs, expedite projects, and improve the accuracy
of data for McARM's billion-dollar construction customers. In addition,
Aligo has won two new customers through one of its Japanese
distributors, TechMatrix. TechMatrix has sold the M-1 Server for a
mobile medical reservations systems that allows consumers to manage
medical appointments via their mobile phone. A second TechMatrix
customer, a business information and research agency, is building a
mobile credit authorization system for its customers.
