PARIS, Nov 18, 2002 - Palmware, a mobile solutions development company based in Toulouse, France,
announced the release of XS-CRM for Nokia 9200 Communicator Series and Siebel 7.5. Siebel Systems, Inc., (Nasdaq: SEBL), is a
leading provider of multichannel eBusiness applications software.
As a developer of enterprise-class mobile computing solutions, Palmware provides a range of business solutions for the enterprise and
professionals such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Sales Force Automation (SFA) and Field Service Automation (FSA).
Built on its MPS technology, Palmware's business solutions offer enterprises rich functionality, high performance and the ability to run online
and offline across all mobile device and operating system platforms. Siebel Systems provides organizations with a proven set of
industry-specific best practices, CRM applications software, and business processes, enabling corporations to sell to, market to, and serve
customers across multiple channels and lines of business.
Together with Nokia, the worldwide leader of mobile communications, Palmware has developed an extension of its CRM solutions that takes
advantage of the device and operating system features of Nokia products and is compatible with and complementary to Siebel eBusiness
Applications. This will represent the first Siebel 7.5 compatible CRM application developed natively for Nokia Communicators and the
Symbian OS.
"This agreement with some of the biggest players in the mobile and software market constitutes a recognition of our expertise and of our
unique offering in the field of mobility. It will allow us to continue our expansion into the growing worldwide market of Enterprise Mobile CRM
Solutions," declared Pierre Revel-Mouroz, CEO of Palmware.
Under the terms of the partnership, this sales force application set will be distributed by Palmware and will benefit from the marketing and
sales support of Nokia. The solution will be available from November, 2002 and will be presented in the Nokia booth at the Comdex
Conference in Las Vegas, from November 18th-22nd.
About Palmware's MPS Technology
Palmware's patented MPS (Multi-Platform System) allows applications to be developed once and to be run unchanged on any device or
platform. This patented technology is comprised of a powerful virtual machine, Rapid Application Development (RAD) and compilation tools.
MPS supports multiple development languages and all mobile devices, form factors and operating systems. As many of Palmware's customers
have found, MPS allows the faster development of more advanced applications, at a lower overall cost per seat. In many cases, customers
have evolved their choice of mobile device and operating system and still been able to run the original application developed by Palmware or
system integrator.
