Oz Technology Featured in Showcase of Wireless Village Instant Messaging and Presence Solutions at Fall Comdex 2002

First Public Demonstration Showing Multiple Wireless Village 1.1. Compliant Devices and Client Applications Working Together

LAS VEGAS, Nov 18, 2002 - OZ Communications Inc., a leading provider of instant communication solutions to wireless operators and handset providers, announced today that the company will be demonstrating its Wireless Village compliant technology at Fall Comdex 2002 in Las Vegas.

The demonstration, which takes place at Nokia's booth #3208 at the Las Vegas Convention Center North Hall, shows multiple devices and client applications connected to the OZ ICS Wireless Village compliant server - all exchanging presence information and messages using version 1.1 of the Wireless Village specifications. This demonstration is effectively the first public demonstration of version 1.1 of the Wireless Village specification, showcasing how products based on the Wireless Village specifications can work together between vendors.

"OZ has demonstrated its technical excellence at both official Wireless Village interoperability events by qualifying the most extensive and fully featured suite of Wireless Village compliant products available," said Skuli Mogensen, CEO of OZ. "As a leader in Wireless Village technology, OZ is proud to be supporting the global leader in mobile phones to showcase the true potential of the Wireless Village initiative."

Wireless Village products and solutions will create interoperable end-user services for mobile instant messaging, presence, group communications, and content sharing. Wireless Village has recently become the Instant Messaging and Presence Services (IMPS) Working Group of the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) of which OZ is now a member. OMA includes more than 200 companies representing the whole mobile services value chain, such as the world's leading mobile operators, device & network suppliers, information technology companies and content providers.
