Skyscape the First to Announce Medical Software for Smartphones
Leader in Mobile Medical Solutions Supports Symbian Platform with its Release of Physicians' Desk Reference to Exhibit with Nokia at COMDEX Fall 2002
HUDSON, Mass., Nov 21, 2002 - Skyscape, Inc., the leading provider of intelligent, interactive mobile solutions for
the healthcare community, today announced it will offer Skyscape medical references on Nokia wireless mobile phones, including the Nokia
9290 mobile phone/PDA and the 3650 mobile phone/camera devices. Skyscape also announced its support for the Symbian operating
system for mobile wireless phones. In related news, Skyscape is exhibiting with Nokia at Booth #3208 at COMDEX Fall 2002, Nov. 18-22,
at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Skyscape is the first mobile healthcare solutions company to support the Symbian platform.
Skyscape software will be available for the Nokia 9290 devices and the Nokia 3650 devices. By supporting the Symbian operating system,
Skyscape is extending its market leadership to include the new generation of handheld/phone devices for mobile professionals. Symbian is an
advanced, open, standard operating system (OS) for mobile wireless phones used by millions of professionals worldwide. Through the use of
Skyscape solutions on their handhelds, physicians can diagnose illnesses, determine treatment, prescribe medication, identify drug interactions,
calculate dosages, and perform all the necessary steps involved with quality patient care right at the patient's bedside.
Skyscape has also joined the Nokia Tradepoint program. Nokia Tradepoint is a business-to-business e-marketplace that offers new business
