City of Trenton Selects WPCS/Invisinet For Homeland Security Application
EXTON, Pa., Dec 12, 2002 - WPCS (OTCBB:WPCS)--The City of Trenton, New Jersey has awarded a contract to
WPCS/Invisinet through its partnership with TekConnect, a New Jersey State approved vendor.
The contract to provide wireless products and installation services is valued at $210,000 and will be booked as revenue by WPCS/Invisinet.
The contract is for the deployment of a fixed wireless homeland security solution that will provide video surveillance and data for various
locations within the city. The company will extend the existing 45Mbps wireless bridge network previously installed by WPCS/Invisinet and
connect to forty-eight cameras in both indoor and outdoor environments.
This advanced technology solution is being implemented by the City of Trenton in order to enhance real time video surveillance for public safety.
Ann Lucas, the WPCS/Invisinet Project Manager assigned to this project, stated: "The City of Trenton chose our team to design and deploy this
mission critical application based on our experience in the integration of multiple products for this specialized wireless solution."
