Seasam Time - a revolutionary wireless application development tool

Seasam House, an internationally operating Finnish software company starts
delivery of Seasam Time - the wireless application development tool product
family during the spring of 2002. The demo version will be presented at the
3GSM World Congress in Cannes 19th-22nd February. At the same time, a
Friendly
User Pilot program for the demo version is started.
Seasam Time is a revolutionary visual development tool for creating dynamic
wireless applications. Seasam Time enables a new and a more efficient way of
application development by introducing actual development in a visual
environment using a Graphical User Interface (GUI). Another of the
user-friendly features in Seasam Time is the inclusion of a portfolio of
wizards, allowing an application and its database connections to be created
quickly and easily. Plus, due to the visual and component-based development
environment, no technical knowledge of markup languages such as WML, HTML
and XHTML or Java programming language is required. By using Seasam Time,
a considerable reduction in development time (tested to be up to 95 %)is
achievable, enabling a quick time-to-market scenario.
Seasam Time introduces truly a new way to develop wireless applications
compared to the complicated editor-based and first generation software
development toolkits (SDK) presently in use. Now, it is possible for
virtually anyone to create database applications such as for field officers
constantly on the move, company wireless homepages, CV and personal details,
time-tables and chat rooms, bulletin-boards, and address and contact
information databases.
