Nokia is adding a new arrow to Cupid's quiver with the introduction of the 'Mobile Message Smooch'
just in time for Valentine's Day. From now until February 14th, the country's largest wireless phone maker will host the 'Nokia Kissing Booth,' located at
www.nokiausa.com, where Valentines can compose and send wireless text messages to the objects of their affection.

"When you just can't wait to let your "other half" know how you feel, send a mobile message -- anytime, anywhere," says Debra Kennedy, a hopeless
romantic, and the director of US consumer marketing at Nokia. "It's discreet and it's sweet. How perfect!"
A Rose is a Rose is a @}--,--`--?
The language of love is entirely different in the text messaging world. It revolves around icons, shortened words and acronyms, more messages of love can
be sent in less time by using abbreviations. For example, :-* means "Kiss", and in mobile message-speak "Luv U", translates to "Love You". "Be My
Valentine" can be expressed as "BM Val," and a date is set up by typing "CU@9pm."
The Mobile Messaging Scene v
Approximately 30 billion mobile text messages are sent every month around the world and it is estimated that this number will grow to 100 billion per month
by the end of 2002. Currently, only a fraction of mobile messages stem from North America. It is expected that soon anyone with a mobile messaging
enabled wireless device will be able to communicate with any other cell phone or PDA on any network or provider.
The Nokia Kissing Booth
Nokia's Kissing Booth, located at http://www.nokiausa.com/, will provide an online location for Valentine wireless users to compose and send mobile
message Smooch messages to any other wireless subscriber from their PC, regardless of which carrier the recipient uses. Text messaging instructions and
a mobile messaging glossary will be provided on the site, which is powered by ZIM Technologies ( www.zimismobile.com).
