SAN DIEGO--March 13, 2002-- Thirteen Companies to Join QUALCOMM Internet Services at Leading Wireless Show

QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), pioneer and world leader of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) digital wireless technology, today announced that it -- along with thirteen leading Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless(TM) (BREW(TM)) application developers and publishers -- will demonstrate their BREW applications at CTIA Wireless 2002, March 18-20, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The BREW applications exhibit will feature a variety of wireless content brought to life by companies taking advantage of the BREW platform's open development environment. The complete BREW solution provides developers, wireless service providers and device manufacturers with everything they need to successfully create and distribute wireless applications, and to make money in the process.

"The companies joining us at CTIA have done amazing work and are taking this opportunity to highlight the expanding possibilities of wireless," said Peggy Johnson, president of QUALCOMM Internet Services. "Visitors that come to our booth at CTIA will see the work and experience first-hand the vision and talent of the BREW developer community."
