Air2Web Launches 2IM, A Secure, Mobile Instant Messaging Solution Integrating Popular Public and Corporate IM Services

ATLANTA--April 21, 2003--Air2Web, the leading wireless platform provider, has launched 2IM, the market's first mobile Instant Messaging (IM) Solution to integrate popular public and corporate IM services. 2IM is available on Palm devices, RIM wireless handhelds, and Cingular Wireless' myBiz pagers and will soon be available on other wireless handsets including J2ME devices.

2IM is a secure, enterprise-oriented, one-to-one Instant Messaging solution that provides employees with simultaneous wireless access to popular public and corporate IM services.

Security Features of 2IM

For enterprises already using secure IM applications, Air2Web protects enterprise information systems and data by using two-factor authentication through certificates and message encryption. Two-factor authentication verifies user and device identity while message encryption preserves message integrity during transmission between users.

Usability Features of 2IM

Users of the 2IM mobile solution have access to

-- chat capabilities including multiple simultaneous chat windows

-- profiles

-- buddy lists and the ability to add, remove, block and confirm buddies

-- time stamps on messages

-- status of online state (busy, on the phone, etc)

-- auto-replace (such as Im, I'm)

-- emoticons

-- solution recalls last user name.
