Jupitermedia is Selected by Intel, IBM and Cisco to Run Seven City Asia-Pacific 802.11 Mobility Forums


NEW YORK--May 5, 2003--Jupitermedia Corporation (Nasdaq: JUPM) today announced that it has been engaged by Intel, IBM and Cisco to organize and manage an Asia-Pacific multi-country seven city series called the "Intel-IBM-Cisco Mobility Forums" during the months of May and June 2003. Representatives from Intel, IBM and Cisco will offer insights on various aspects of 802.11 mobility equipment and solutions at free seminars moderated by Jupiter Research analysts and Jupitermedia editors.

Intel will elaborate on the business value proposition of Intel Centrino Mobile Technology. IBM will comment on Intel Centrino mobile technology-based Thinkpad Mobility solutions as well as deployment planning and service provisioning. Cisco will discuss 802.11 wireless infrastructure security considerations and introduce Cisco solutions referencing their involvement with Calexico. Calexico is the code name for a PC card modem developed by Intel that allows both PCs and notebooks to connect to any 802.11b, or Wi-Fi, wireless network.
