New 'Rapid Deployment Kit' from RAE Systems Remotely Detects Hazardous Environmental Threats

RAE Systems Inc. (OTCBB:RAEE.OB) a leading provider of hazardous environment detection solutions for homeland defense, today announced the availability of a Rapid Deployment Kit designed for quick assessment of environmental threats. The kit includes four, market proven, wireless AreaRAE gas detection monitors with in-case charging as well as a Host Controller for monitoring from a command center up to two miles away. With their in-case charging, the kits are always ready-to-go. This Rapid Deployment Kit offers first responders all the chemical detection tools they need in two rugged, portable cases.

"Through wireless data transmission, the incident commander can actively monitor AreaRAE sensors around the perimeter of an event. This system can be deployed in an instant and prevents the needless deployment of personnel into potential 'hot zones.' This system is unmatched in its ability to increase the environmental and situational awareness of first responders by providing timely, life-critical information."
The AreaRAE monitors can be rapidly deployed and re-deployed in situations that require a quick and adaptable response in establishing a safe perimeter or protecting major events from chemical threats. This can be performed by a single person or team. Housed in a military-grade self-contained case, the Rapid Deployment Kit is easy to transport and easy to deploy.
The Rapid Deployment Kit also provides protection in the monitoring of environmental remediation, oil and gas platforms, petrochemical applications, and refineries. The AreaRAE can actively detect Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Lower Explosive Limit (LEL), oxygen (O2), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), and carbon monoxide (CO) and offers datalogging for event documentation.
The Rapid Deployment Kit is designed for military, industrial, and municipal customers and can be easily purchased, leased or rented from RAE Systems worldwide representatives. The leasing option makes the equipment readily accessible to many types of users, especially municipalities, environmental remediation teams, and event managers who would require the product for a defined amount of time.
RAE Systems' Rapid Deployment Kit is available now with or without GPS option. Pricing starts at $35,000 (depending on configuration).
