Mediabricks to outsource delivery of services to End2End
End2End and Mediabricks today announced that Mediabricks has outsourced the hosting and management of its live services with T-Mobile Germany and Jamba! to End2End. In addition to the outsourcing agreement, the two companies have announced a partnership to deliver next generation content services to mobile operators and service providers.
Through the partnership, End2End is now hosting, managing and reselling Mediabricks’ Media Viewer, a client-server based solution that provides an easier, richer and faster service experience, as a turnkey Managed Service Solution. End2End’s Content Viewer Solution covers all aspects of content delivery, from user-friendly presentation of content on the handset to a carrier-grade service delivery infrastructure that manages service delivery, as well as generation of billing and business intelligence data.
The managed service Content Viewer Solution enables mobile operators and service providers to drive revenues from GPRS by leveraging the growing number of Java-enabled handsets to deliver content to end-users. The solution enables content providers to leverage their existing assets in the delivery of content to the mobile market, enabling mobile operators and service providers to rapidly expand offerings beyond games with a variety of user-friendly content. The Mediabricks service is already being leveraged by content providers such as Reuters and TEAMtalk, and will soon include CNN, who are currently trialling the service.
“We chose End2End as our outsourcing partner due to their excellent track record of delivering carrier-grade Managed Service Solutions to the leading mobile operators and handset manufacturers”, said Christer Simrén, CEO of Mediabricks. “We believe that the Managed Service Solution delivered in partnership with End2End will significantly speed our market penetration.”
“It is vital for the success of mobile data that we, as an industry, find an effective and user friendly way of delivering content to mobile handsets,” said Atte Miettinen, Chief Marketing Officer, End2End. “The partnership with Mediabricks will provide mobile operators and service providers with an attractive solution for driving additional revenues from content by leveraging the rapid growth of Java-enabled handsets”.
