MobiMate's WorldMate Comes To Nokia Series 60 Phones
The #1 best-selling Symbian application is now available for the pervasive smart phones
REHOVOT, Israel--May 22, 2003--MobiMate Ltd., the leading mobile application vendor, announced today the release of WorldMate(TM) Standard Edition 1.0 for Series 60 Phones. This announcement comes as MobiMate's WorldMate(TM) for Symbian OS(TM), the full-featured mobile travel application previously available for Symbian UIQ phones has risen to the top of the Symbian best-seller application list within a month of its release. WorldMate for Series 60 includes highly useful functionality for business travelers, including world clocks, day/night map, weather forecasts from The Weather Channel(TM) (weather.com) and a currency converter, and is now commercially available via on-line channels.
"WorldMate is clearly a hit with Symbian smart-phone users, as it is on other platforms," says Kelly Murad, MobiMate's founder. "We have been besieged with requests from both end-users and wireless operators to have the product on this platform."
