EATONI ADDS VTECH TO ITS LIST OF CUSTOMERS

NEW YORK, May 29 --Text entry software developer Eatoni Ergonomics, Inc., (www.eatoni.com) has extended its reach into the telecommunications marketplace through an agreement with consumer technology product manufacturer VTech, Howard Gutowitz, Eatoni CEO announced today.

The agreement to have VTech install Eatoni's predictive text-entry software LetterWise in its SMS-enabled cordless phones furthers Eatoni's position as the market leader.

Currently Eatoni controls about two-thirds of the European market for messaging-enabled cordless phones, Gutowitz said.

"LetterWise appeals to both phone manufacturers and to consumers because it is easier to use, easier to learn and faster than word guessing software like T9, and is available in many more languages," Gutowitz said.

Eatoni's software requires about a 20th as much memory as word guessing predictive text-entry software, making it less expensive to install. It can be used in consumer electronics devices which are much less powerful than cell phones, such as remote controls, set-top boxes, cordless or WI-FI phones.

"The easier it is to send text messages, the more text messages will be sent," said Gutowitz.
