Nothing Beats Global Like fastmobile When It Comes to the Reach of Walkie-Talkie Phones

CHICAGO--June 5, 2003--While some are touting as breakthrough Coast to Coast walkie-talkie function on THEIR cellular network, Schaumburg, Illinois based fastmobile(TM) has already launched their fastchat(TM) service which makes nationwide and even global "push to talk" service possible and that's just where the fun starts.

fastchat goes beyond any preconceived distances, it's even interoperable over several networks. Not only coast-to-coast or even nationwide, but fastchat goes globally through GSM networks including US operators Cingular Wireless, AT&T Wireless and T-Mobile. This is a quantum leap over the competition. fastchat is already available on the Nokia 3650 and Sony Ericcson P800 and several additional handset makes and models will be available to consumers before the year is out. The freedom of choice for users is a major advancement in the "walkie-talkie" space. Even more so is the ability to use the service between cell phone networks around the world.

The fastchat service adds feature enhancements that extend the functionality well beyond an ordinary phone-to-phone walkie-talkie feature. fastchat opens up whole new worlds of communication to users. With the push of a button, a friend can talk into the phone and instant message via voice with another friend at work on their pc with MSN Messenger. They can also send text instant messages between phones or from phone to computer. There is even the ability to take a picture and instantly send it with a note to a friend anywhere in the world right on their phone.

Harry Eschel, co-founder of fastmobile, said, "It's important for cell phone users to know that a simple walkie-talkie feature locked within a single network just scratches the surface of true instant communications. With the innovation and freedom to immediately reach anyone, virtually anywhere from coast-to-coast to around the world- fastchat marks the introduction of tomorrow's instant communication standard.

To sign up for fastchat service at this time, all a user needs to do is go to www.fastchat.com and register. They will receive a message straight to their phone telling them service has been initiated. Within the next 30-45 days service will be available at mobile phone retail stores nationwide. Monthly fastchat subscriptions are as low as $6.95 depending on term of service selected.
