Targus Universal Wireless Keyboard for Handhelds Hits Retail Shelves
New Foldout Wireless Keyboard Available at Leading Retailers and Online
ANAHEIM, Calif.--June 10, 2003--Targus Inc., a leading global provider of mobile lifestyle solutions, today announced the availability of its new Universal Wireless Keyboard for use with more than 100 handheld devices.
The new, foldout keyboard is compatible with virtually every PDA, Pocket PC and Smartphone on the market. The keyboard features a patented rotating infrared (IR) arm, providing exceptional IR connectivity. The keyboard, which retails for $79.99, is now available at leading retailers and distributors nationwide, including Best Buy, Ingram Micro, Tech Data, Synnex, D & H and through leading VARs.
According to Brett Johnson, president of Targus, "Targus pioneered the full-size folding keyboard, and we learned a great deal from that experience. One of the most important lessons we learned was that customers need a keyboard to function across all of their different devices, and whenever they upgrade. Our new keyboard retains the best functionality and feel of our earlier generation products, and has the added benefit of universal compatibility."
