Nsight Telservices and ipUnplugged First in Nation to Launch Commercial Mobile VPN Service Integrated Solution to Provide Secure, Seamless Roaming for the Mobile User STOCKHOLM, Sweden & GREEN BAY, Wis.--July 14, 2003--Swedish Mobile IP vendor, ipUnplugged, and cellular service provider, Nsight Telservices, Green Bay, and its affiliate, Cellcom, announce the signing of an agreement that will make Nsight the first wireless service provider in the nation to launch a commercial Mobile VPN service. The new services, available immediately, are targeted to business customers and are the critical applications for wireless data networks and technologies like 802.11 wireless hot spots, better known as WiFi and cellular phone data networks like CDMA2000. It will provide the network security business consumers are accustomed to with wire line connections, but built for today's mobile environment. Nsight will also be the nation's first carrier to host ipUnplugged's Mobile IP product for integration of wireless local area networks (WLAN), Nsight's digital wireless network technologies and corporate local area networks. The integration of these innovative technologies provides a secure solution for business customers, which was previously unavailable. The access control of hot spots allows the carrier to open a portion of the Internet for public use, while keeping visitors away from corporate networks or the entirety of the Internet except through password codes. The solution is centrally managed and operates seamlessly with other Nsight systems.
