LOGICACMG ENABLES T-MOBILE INTERNATIONAL TO BRING NEW CONSUMER SERVICES TO MARKET FASTER

Offshore Sourcing for T-Mobile International Saves 35 Percent in Costs and Enables Faster Time-to-Market for latest content such as Games, Ringtones and Mobile Data Services

July 24, 2003 - LogicaCMG today announced that it has helped T-Mobile International increase opportunities to generate revenues by launching fifty new consumer services over the past two months. T-Mobile achieved this by transferring its Partner Integration Helpdesk to LogicaCMG's offshore international service centre in Bangalore, India and in the process has significantly reduced costs by 35 percent.

By using LogicaCMG's services, T-Mobile has been able to integrate new applications such as Java games, ringtones, and WAP content.

LogicaCMG provide first line support to help business partners develop innovative, marketable products for T-Mobile and integrate them into the mobile operator's portal. LogicaCMG employees, based in Bangalore, review and approve service descriptions of new content, set-up T-Mobile's portal configuration to include content, provide pro-active development support to T-Mobile's partners and perform integration testing of the content.

By outsourcing these activities to LogicaCMG, T-Mobile is in a better position to take advantage of the expanding market for mobile services, such as games, entertainment and chat, which analyst firm Strand Consult, predicts to be worth £14.6 billion by 2005.

Robert Dunkley, managing director of the Telecoms International Line of Business at LogicaCMG said: "The greatest success with new revenue generating services will inevitably go to those operators with maximum reach and the best enabling environment. LogicaCMG's sourcing model helps T-Mobile to provide a more competitive offering of services to customers. Because we fully understand offshore sourcing, the use of technology and the need for cost effective, rapid deployment we are able to offer our clients a more dynamic environment with which to help grow their business."

LogicaCMG Offshore services is the offshore development arm of LogicaCMG plc, and employs 250 staff in Bangalore. It focuses on offshore and onshore product and project management, business process outsourcing (BPO) and providing client services such as call centres and technical support centres. LogicaCMG Offshore service's Bangalore development centre handles the design, development and implementation of software solutions and products for LogicaCMG worldwide on a project basis.
