QUALCOMM Creates Industry Consortium to Provide Direction on Untethered Trailer Asset Management System URL(s): Schneider National Inc. Schneider National, Inc., a leading provider of truckload and intermodal transportation and logistics solutions, has joined the consortium as its founding member. Yesterday, Schneider National announced its selection of QUALCOMM as the company's provider of choice for untethered trailer tracking technology. The QUALCOMM Consortium will consist of executives from a select number of leading companies in transportation and related industries. This group will provide direction into how QUALCOMM's untethered trailer tracking product will be implemented into the market. A Product Direction Council has been chartered to help provide feedback to QUALCOMM about product features for the untethered trailer tracking product. The council will consist of consortium members, who will be permanent members, and non-consortium members whose membership will rotate periodically. Product Direction Council members will be able to participate in alpha and beta product testing.
