"Click And Know" Info On The Go: Telecom Device
BOCA RATON, Fla., Aug. 20, 2003 --- As the number
of features on cell phones increase, the expectations of
cell phone users rise exponentially.
Anthony Baratta has developed and recently patented a
"Click and Know; Info On The Go" device which allows users
to submit and recieve information about the world around
them.
"The concept is simple and services a variety of markets," stated Baratta. "From real estate, to retail stores, car dealers and restaurants, outlets using the device transmit information to potential customers on the spot."
The device targets many mediums at the cost of pennies per inquiry. It can be used to effectively, conveniently and innovatively sell, promote, advertise, to provide information, to collect data, communicate, for commercial or personal inquiries, addresses, or driving directions.
"The system provides true convenience of information on the go," added Baratta.
Via a Hand-held Transmitter / Receiver or Cellular Phone,
the person interested in obtaining information enters a
User Code number or cellular phone number which is
transmitted to a Base Unit Transmitter / Receiver. The unit activates and triggers the delivery of information from the Base Unit to the Hand-held Unit or Cellular Phone. The information transmitted back to the Hand-held Unit (via radio wave) or cellular phone (via SMS, internet, or GPS) can take a variety of forms.
The Base Unit owner may view the number inquiries per day
and information about the person requesting information if
they choose to provide it. The Base Unit stores
information, organizes and manages the received information
for later sending to a PDA (Palm Pilot), cell phone,
address book, email, word file, or mailing list.
"I have received a Letter of Intent to Purchase the
exclusive rights for the device from a major real estate company which would like to be the first in its industry to utilize the device for selling and renting homes, apartments and commercial property," said Baratta. "While I realize this offer represents a several billion dollar industry, and at an average of three cents ($0.03) per click which adds-up fast, I have also received strong feed-back from retail stores, cinema companies, chain restaurants and other companies."
"I envision the device installed into cellular telephones
and marked by a button with the international symbol for information (" ? "), and to be used as a hand-held device for the convenience of all consumers."
Baratta is evaluating all options, including considering licensing the device and manufacturing for direct selling.
"While I am open to either option," said Baratta, "my main
goal remains to get the device to market immediately so
that I may see the positive impact it will make on all our lives."

Specifications
The Base Unit can serves as a text transmitter, MMS (Multi Media Message), and/or voice message transmitter. Once the information is downloaded to the Base Unit, it can operate on battery power or plugged into an electrical socket making the Base Unit both mobile and permanent; whichever is preferred.
Summary of Devices
The units will be used to transmit information, data, MMS, messages (voice, video, and text) from one device to another while on the go and at the option and convenience of the user. In addition, the base unit owners and subscribers will be able to relay any message (voice or text), in the form of general information, personal messages, or other voice or text parameters as determined by the Base Unit owner.
With these devices, individuals may simply point and click their Hand-held Device or Cellular Phone to a Base Unit at any location which will immediately send-back a text, MMS or voice message listing all of the information as up-loaded into the Base Unit.
As this new device has been patented, it may be licensed to cellular phone, computer, PDA and satellite service providers and manufacturers to be integrated into their devices. Customers will need only the base unit.
Other possibilities for the device would be to combine communications including the internet with radio wave transmission (sending User Codes to the Base Unit which is connected to the internet which generates a Short Text Message (SMS) to a cell phone or other electronic device). Other variable combinations of technology include satellite and Bluetooth transmissions.
