The operator launched in November 2000 with a Telsis Ocean fastSSP switch and fastSCP service control point at its Birmingham operations centre. Opera Telecom has now invested in further Ocean fastSSPs from Telsis’ small-footprint, high-performance, carrier-grade technology portfolio for its new switching centres in London and Dublin.
