THQ to Deliver Catalog of Titles to AT&T Wireless' mMode Service

CALABASAS HILLS, Calif., Mar 11, 2003 - Leading videogame publisher THQ(R) Inc (NASDAQ:THQI) has teamed up with one of the leading wireless service providers in North America, AT&T Wireless, for the distribution of several key THQ game titles for mobile devices. AT&T Wireless' mMode(sm) customers will be able to download THQ games including MotoGP(TM), Tetris(R), Astrosmash and WWE Mobile Madness(TM) to their mobile phones. In total, more than 20 THQ titles will be distributed through the agreement, including THQ's first Hello Kitty(R)-licensed content in early 2003.

"This deal represents one of the biggest wireless gaming initiatives in the U.S. to date," said Doug Dyer, general manager, THQ Wireless. "Working with AT&T Wireless will be key to our continued momentum in the wireless gaming space through the rapid adoption of next-generation wireless phones in the coming months."

"Games have been clearly identified as a leading application driving the next-generation of wireless technology," said Sam Hall, vice president of mMode Services at AT&T Wireless. "Working with a leading videogame publisher like THQ gives us critical access to some of the biggest brands in interactive entertainment -- the games we know our customers want to download and play."

Content will range from dancing to racing to traditional sports and platform games, as well as screensaver and icon downloads. Content will range in price from $1.00 to $4.99 and can be saved to AT&T Wireless "favorites" category within mMode.
