Open Bit Announces Photographer For Nokia 3650 And 7650 Phones

Photographer improves the quality of wireless imaging and makes photographing more fun

CTIA WIRELESS 2003 (Booth #3145), New Orleans, LA, March 17, 2003

Open Bit Ltd., the leading multimedia and client-server application developer, has launched new Photographer 2.0 software that makes wireless imaging more fun. Photographer significantly improves the quality of wireless imaging of mobile phones. The software offers zoom, panorama and trick functionality to the mobile phone users. The product is targeted to the consumer market and works with Nokia 3650 and 7650 mobile phones.

"Photographer software removes the so-called barrel distortion caused by the camera lens, and improves the contrast and colors at the edge of the picture," said Arto Lehtonen, CEO at Open Bit. "Photographer also brings zoom and panorama functions to the mobile phone camera. In addition, you can take trick pictures using masks, for example insert your friend's portrait into a one-dollar-bill or an old western "Wanted Dead or Alive" poster."

"Photographer has been very popular among our customers and their feedback has been excellent. Customers see the added value in the features of Photographer," said Jani Bebek, Partner Manager at TeliaSonera.

Photographer is available today at www.softwaremarket.nokia.com, with pricing starting at $19.95.

Open Bit is demonstrating Photographer, the winner of Nokia Series 60 Challenge competition in messaging category, at CTIA Wireless 2003, March 17-19, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans (LA), in Nokia booth #3145.
