HillCast Technologies Showcases MidCast(TM), a Java(TM)-Technology Based Solution for the Wireless Financial World, at CTIA Wireless 2003
AUSTIN, Texas, and SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 18 - HillCast Technologies' solution is being demonstrated in Sun Microsystems 's Solution Showcase at CTIA Wireless 2003. HillCast's mobile financial solution employs a client-server architecture and utilizes Java™ technology to deliver robust enterprise solutions. Since July 2000, HillCast has been developing carrier-grade wireless applications that take advantage of Java technology enabled devices.
HillCast is showcasing its flagship product, MidCast, at Sun Microsystems's Solution Showcase at CTIA Wireless, booth #5131. MidCast enables secure, dynamic, and continuous real-time streaming of stock quotes, stock details, charts, and graphs as the market fluctuates. These features make the MidCast™ Financial Suite a comprehensive and suitable financial services offering available to mobile devices.

MidCast's existing financial information includes stock prices, price changes, volumes, sizes of last trades, highs, lows, the day's open, the prior day's close, bids and asks, the listed exchange of the last trade, and the time the last trade went through. Features to be added in future versions include news, secure online trading, personal portfolio management, currency data, stock, news, alerts, and global data.
