Tele Atlas sells navigation CDs on-line

Tele Atlas, a world leader in digital mapping and a pioneer in car navigation, is launching a "navshop" web site to make selection and ordering of navigation CDs quick and simple.
Users of the increasingly popular in-car navigation systems need to keep their CDs up to date. The CDs carry essential road information but Tele Atlas research shows as much as 20 per cent can be out of date in just one year. Now at www.navshop.com it is easy to find and buy the latest CD to avoid frustrating delays.
Visitors to navshop can select the CD they want by country, navigation system or car brand. Every CD currently available from Tele Atlas is listed on the site. Purchasers can order direct for delivery to home or office or to their nearest dealer. And they can find the nearest dealer through a special section of the navshop site. Dealers will also be using navshop for CD browsing and identification.
The wealth of map data on Tele Atlas CDs gives precise geographic details of roads. It includes one-way streets, motorway junctions and even house numbers. In seven European countries Tele Atlas now has 100% coverage of house numbers. Close to 100 CDs provide data for all established navigation systems.
