ALIGO UNVEILS ADVANCED MOBILE GROUPWARE APPLICATIONS FOR ASIA PACIFIC MARKET

New ROI-proven software provides instant wireless access for mobile groupware users

San Francisco - April 8, 2003 - Aligo, the leading provider of world-class, profit-maximizing mobile business solutions, has released M-1 Mobile Access 1.2, the most advanced version of its popular enterprise application for wireless groupware access. Featuring increased security, robustness and flexibility, M-1 Mobile Access 1.2 provides the most rapid return on investment yet for enterprises looking to increase the efficiency of their mobile workers.

M-1 Mobile Access 1.2's new features include native attachment viewing support on PDAs for word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation documents. To increase usability, the software also offers the option to create mobile passwords. For increased administrative ease and lower maintenance costs, this new version offers advanced tracking of application usage and logging. With an increasing number of mobile devices coming to market every month, Aligo has also improved the product's device profile and product update capability to ensure that customers can more easily and quickly update Mobile Access 1.2 to support every mobile device available now and in the future.

An easily installed, out-of-the-box application, M-1 Mobile Access 1.2 gives enterprise users the power to wirelessly access -- in real-time and from any mobile phone - groupware servers for Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino, IMAP and Sun ONE Messaging and Calendar Servers. The software helps executives, sales teams, field force workers, customer service personnel, and other employees who work away from the office to improve their efficiency and productivity by giving them unmatched control over their mission-critical business information.

By providing access to email, contact databases, calendar and task lists at any time, anywhere, on any device, M-1 Mobile Access 1.2 enables field employees to never miss an important email from a customer, partner, or colleague; provide the highest level of customer service; and use "dead-time" while between appointments or traveling. Built on the robust M-1 Server platform, customers can customize and expand the capabilities of M-1 Mobile Access for their specific needs and workflow, or add access to other ERP, CRM, SCM or SFA applications.

"We are very pleased to make this next-generation mobile groupware solution available to our customers worldwide," said Frank Han, Senior Product Marketing Manager for M-1 Mobile Access. "Enterprises in Asia have discovered the tremendous advantages of their employees being able to access e-mail from any location and any device. This is an application that adds tremendous value to companies with wireless workers."

As with Aligo M-1 Mobile Application Server, M-1 Mobile Access integrates easily and seamlessly with an enterprise's current infrastructure. Companies using any of the aforementioned servers can "plug in" M-1 Mobile Access for immediate wireless groupware availability. M-1 Mobile Access supports all types and makes of mobile devices, including Internet-ready mobile phones from iMode, KDDI, and J-Phone, as well as PDAs such as Palm OS devices, Pocket PC devices, RIM Blackberry devices, Linux-based devices such as the Sharp Zaurus, and laptops. Aligo's strict security standards also ensure the highest level of protection for sensitive corporate information, and its leading architecture assures scalability for thousands of users.
