Nowire releases Smartphone Teletext 2.0 for Nokia Series 60 compatible mobile phones
A new version of popular teletext application now available
Turku, Finland (April, 8th, 2003) – Nowire, Inc. today announced the release of new Smartphone Teletext 2.0, the teletext viewer for the Nokia Series 60 compatible mobile phones. Version 2’s new features make it value-packed application perfect for everyone who wants to access teletext information anytime, everywhere.

The Nowire Smartphone Teletext allows watching teletext channels anytime and everywhere with Series 60 compatible mobile phones. The application works over mobile phone networks and it retrieves and presents teletext information from the teletext channels freely available on the Internet.
The new version 2.0 supports more than 80 teletext channels from 22 different countries. For instance, the application allows watching offering of Finnish, Swedish, Italian and Dutch teletext channels with a mobile phone. As a new feature, the application allows watching both useful and entertaining add-in channels, which include weather information, web cams and comic strips. Additionally, users of the new version are able to update the channel list of the application whenever they want and thus stay up-to-date with the teletext channels and add-ins.
The other important new features include favorites list and preset Access Point Profile. Favorite list allows users storing their favorite channels and pages. Access Point Profile gives possibility to set default Access Point and thus reduce user interaction when starting to retrieve teletext pages. The graphical user interface has been improved from the previous version and the graphical layout has received a complete face-lift. The new version 2.0 supports three different languages, which are Finnish, English and Italian.
