Schema Chooses DTI’s claRiFy™ Data Collection System for Integration
Germantown, MD – August 20, 2003 – Dynamic Telecommunications (DTI), a PCTEL
company, announced today that Schema has chosen DTI’s claRiFy™ data collection
system for its global wireless testing requirements. Schema is a leading global
provider of optimization and planning solutions for wireless networks.
Schema has integrated DTI’s claRiFy data system into its comprehensive planning
and optimization solutions that produce optimal frequency plans and optimal
configurations for cell parameters.
DTI’s claRiFy system consists of innovative tools for propagation and
interference measurements that enable wireless carriers to significantly
increase their network performance and quality in both cellular and PCS bands.
Key benefits include expanded network capacity, increased data throughput,
decreased poor quality call percentage, and reduced call drop rate.
“We extensively evaluated the performance of data collection systems available
in the marketplace,” said Roni Abiri, Schema’s CTO. “We found DTI’s claRiFy
system a good fit for Schema’s stringent requirements based on its extensive
dynamic range and sensitivity. This offering utilizes Schema’s optimization
engine in a highly efficient manner, so that our customers will realize improved
performance from their network because they now have an integrated solution,
complete with testing capabilities, that covers both planning and optimization
needs."
Paul Kline, President of DTI stated, “DTI is pleased that Schema has chosen to
use our claRiFy solution as a result of their extensive benchmarking. Schema is
a leading provider of network optimization solutions, and they clearly
understand the 2G and 3G technologies and the needs of operators. Recognition
from such a market-leading expert validates our competitive advantage and our
commitment to excellence.”
DTI’s claRiFy family of products are precise, sophisticated, and innovative
wireless test and measurement tools. ClaRiFy reports actual measurements that
enable carriers to improve quality of service and reduce capital expenditures.
With this family of products, wireless carriers can maximize the efficient use
of their spectrum across their wireless networks. The claRiFy system has
completed extensive trials in both the United States and Europe and is expected
to be commercially available in September 2003.
