NewBay FoneBlog v2 set to accelerate MMS traffic worldwide
Dublin, Ireland – NewBay Software today announced the latest version of its mobile blogging solution, FoneBlog v2. FoneBlog provides phone users with a personal internet website where they can post pictures, audio, video and text to share with others over PC and mobile phone browsers.
FoneBlog v2 adds enhanced messaging functionality designed to drive increased MMS traffic. Visitors to FoneBlog can now forward picture messages directly from the web or WAP site. In addition, FoneBlog can notify users of comments on their site by sending alerts with embedded links using WAP Push, MMS and SMS messaging. This encourages the development of user driven phone communities resulting in increased data activity.
The new version of FoneBlog also supports a wider range of devices and media formats including significantly enhanced video download and streaming capabilities found on the latest phones.
