WirelessDevNet.com Press Release
Discrete Wireless to launch their 5th Version of the MARCUS Fleet Management Application
Discrete Wireless is pleased to announce the release date for the next generation MARCUS(r) Fleet Management Application. This application update is the 5th application release of Discrete Wireless's Web-hosted vehicle and fleet tracking application. "Version 5" is the result of over three years technical experience in hosted wireless application development. Discrete believes that this application upgrade, which has been much anticipated, will give its customers the most comprehensive hosted fleet management application in the industry.
Discrete Wireless's "backend" architecture has been completely redesigned for Version 5. This design performs fully redundant auto processing of all application components independently, and allows for scalability, rapid enhancements, and improved security. This new network topology design will allow Discrete Wireless to provide increased application performance and availability to our customers, while increasing functionality with improved mapping, reporting, and routing. Although the entire application is being upgraded, the core functionality and ease of use will remain similar.
