GARMIN IQUE 3600 OWNERS CAN NOW TAKE GPS TO THE GOLF COURSE WITH STARCADDY GOLF GPS YARDAGE AND RANGE FINDING SOFTWARE

Norwalk, CT (July 29, 2003) – LinksPoint, the leader in Location Powered SolutionsÔ, today announced that an exclusive trial version of its StarCaddy golf GPS yardage and range finding software is now shipping with the highly-anticipated new Garmin iQue 3600.

The iQue 3600 is the first PDA to feature a built-in GPS antenna and integrated turn-by-turn navigation software. Using an ARM processor powered by Palm OS® 5, the iQue 3600 combines Garmin’s proprietary Que™ technology with the unit’s Address Book and Date Book. The iQue 3600 began shipping to retailers on July 24, according to a statement released by Garmin.

All of StarCaddy’s industry-leading features are available in the trial version included with the iQue 3600. As part of the free trial, the user can select a free trial map of the golf course of their choice. This allows iQue 3600 owners to experience all of StarCaddy’s features live on the golf course. IQue 3600 owners are free to use the trial version as much as they wish with their trial course map. To upgrade to the full version of StarCaddy, including one full course map, users can purchase an activation code online.

“StarCaddy shows just why the iQue 3600 is a truly revolutionary handheld device,” said Guy Waitley, Garmin's associate director of business development. “It adds a new class of location-based functionality that was never before available on an integrated device. For example, the iQue 3600 can save you time by helping you navigate to the golf course, and now, with StarCaddy, save strokes on your golf game with GPS range finding.”

“StarCaddy’s GPS features give golfers a powerful advantage on the golf course,” said Chris Rising, Marketing Manager for StarCaddy. “Now iQue 3600 owners can experience first hand StarCaddy’s GPS range finding, interactive yardage measurements and digital scorecard.”
