TynTec becomes Preferred SMS Messaging Partner


May 7, 2003 - Douglas, Isle of Man and Dortmund, Germany - TynTec, a leading European wireless services provider, and Materna, a leading software company for information and communications, today announced a formal partnership. As of today TynTec becomes Materna’s Preferred Partner for international cross-network SMS messaging.

The partnership is an extension of TynTec’s ongoing relationship with Materna who has been using the company’s high performance SMS platform since the beginning of the year. Materna will utilize TynTec’s cross-network connectivity services to optimize the international reach of the service offerings to its customers. Both parties also plan to generate value-added solutions for corporate customers by combining Materna’s extensive customer and partner network with TynTec’s direct SS7 access and high-performance messaging platform.
