Acotel Group sign commercial agreement with leading telecom vendor
Dublin May 07 2003 - Acotel Group S.p.A today announced that Ericsson Mobility World has signed a marketing Co-operation Agreement to jointly promote Acotel's MMS Value-added Services, J2ME Games & other Mobile Data Services such as Polyphonic Ring-tones, Animated Images to mobile network operators worldwide.
Acotel's innovative and compelling Mobile Data Services enable mobile network operators to build on key revenue streams. The range of services available allow network operators to target a number of different market segments based around the lifestyle of the mobile phone user.
This Agreement creates an opportunity for Acotel's world-leading MMS VAS Applications & Content to be promoted across Ericsson's extensive MMSC customer base worldwide.
Acotel brings long-standing expertise & success in Mobile Messaging Applications & Content to this relationship with Ericsson and has built a respected global presence through innovation, mobile services leadership, technical vision and, above all, dedication to its customers - all characteristics shared by Ericsson.
Commenting on the Agreement, Ciaran Carey, General Manager Acotel Northern Europe, confirmed that the mobile messaging market is entering a new growth phase with increased demand in all territories for MMS VAS & J2ME. Applications and traffic levels are still evolving and adapting to the needs and demands of the end user.
