TIME iCR STANDARDIZES ON AUDIUM 3 FOR VoiceXML DEVELOPMENT

OTTAWA - November 3, 2003 – Time iCR, a leading telco-independent provider of Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and call processing solutions across North America, has chosen Audium 3 as its standard application environment for VoiceXML.

“Audium’s software enables us to deliver cutting-edge voice applications to our expanding customer-base in a timely manner while allowing us to adhere to evolving standards as the number of VoiceXML applications offered through our service bureau grows,” says Time iCR president Shafique Shamji. “Through our own comparative studies we’ve found Audium significantly accelerates our development process compared to other approaches and provides a reliable, scalable runtime environment to meet our tight delivery deadlines.”

Audium’s drag and drop development environment provides a comfortable interface for developers already familiar with tools such as Nortel's Peri Producer to ensure a seamless transition for experienced voice developers from proprietary systems to VoiceXML.

The platform’s component-based architecture allows for reuse of components and enforces best practices in application design and development. The runtime component fits into Time iCR’s existing application servers and scales to handle high call volumes.

“Time iCR’s sensitivity to the cultural and linguistic requirements of the North American market, extensive voice application experience and commitment to standards makes it a clear market leader,” says Audium COO J. Cory Wright. “Our tools enable it to grow its VoiceXML capabilities and provide its customers new applications efficiently and on time.”

New York City-based Audium creates VoiceXML server and application software designed to enhance customer service IVR systems and voice processing solutions. The company’s core product, Audium 3, gives customers a simple way to build and run speech driven automated phone systems that can replace traditional hardware-based IVRs with intelligent, personalized voice applications at reduced costs.
