WirelessDevNet.com Press Release
Cingular Wireless and ESPN Choose Air2Web to Power Wireless College Football Trivia Contest
Atlanta, Georgia. ESPN and Cingular Wireless have chosen
Air2Web to power the Cingular Text Challenge, which is a wireless college
football trivia contest sponsored by Cingular Wireless and ESPN. Each week
one lucky fan is winning a trip for two to the Bowl Championship Series game
of their choice, plus all participants have a chance to win hundreds of
instant prizes. A total of 13 BCS trips for two are being awarded.
To play, participants simply use their Cingular Wireless phone and send any
text message (ex: Play) to GAME (4263) to receive the weekly TEXT CHALLENGE
polling question with four college teams to choose from. Participants choose
their team and text their reply. Every text message reply qualifies the
participant to win one of thousands of instant prizes, in addition to a trip
for two to a BCS game. For more details visit,
http://www.cingularpromos.com/textchallenge/ . The contest began September
11 and runs through December 7, 2003.
