Scalado joins Symbian Platinum Program
Scalado AB (www.scalado.com), today announced that it has joined the Symbian Platinum Program to support the emerging market for Symbian OS™ advanced mobile phones. As a Platinum Partner, Scalado is extending its mobile imaging solutions to the Symbian ecosystem. Symbian develops and licenses Symbian OS, the global industry standard operating system for advanced mobile phones, to the world’s leading handset manufacturers, that account for over 80 per cent of annual worldwide mobile phone sales.

Scalado offers a complete mobile imaging suite, Scalado Camera phone Application Platform Suite (CAPS), for handset manufacturers, network operators, and content providers who are interested in innovative imaging solutions that will enhance the imaging functionality in mobile devices as well as increasing ARPU.
CAPS includes functions for capturing, editing, presenting, saving, and sending imaging in one sole application on a mobile device. The user-friendly applications from Scalado are characterized by high functionality with low processing power requirements and advanced imaging processing with low memory requirements. By becoming a Symbian Platinum Partner, Scalado ensures the close integration of their solutions with smartphones based on Symbian OS providing simple and powerful imaging solutions for enterprises looking to deploy applications and deliver content to mobile devices.
