Envox Worldwide and Metaphor Solutions Partner to Deliver VoiceXML-based Speech Solutions

Response) applications, today announced a partnership that promises to advance open, standards-based communications solutions. The two companies have aligned to provide the products and services needed to develop, deploy and maintain speech solutions that improve customer satisfaction, lower operating costs and create new revenue opportunities.
As part of the agreement, Metaphor has ported its extensive suite of packaged VoiceXML-based speech IVR applications to the Envox 5 Communications Development Platform. These applications will be offered to customers on either hosted or on-premise basis. Additionally, they will be available through the Envox Worldwide Global Partners Network. The two companies will also work together on market and customer development activities, targeting call center solutions in a range of industries including healthcare, financial services, retail and government.
