Intellisync Launches Desktop Synchronization for Windows Mobile-Based Smartphones
SAN JOSE, Calif., April 21 -- Intellisync Corporation (Nasdaq: SYNC - News), a leading provider of synchronization and mobilization solutions formerly known as Pumatech, today announced that its award-winning Intellisync® desktop synchronization software now supports Microsoft Windows Mobile-based Smartphones
Reflecting Intellisync Corporation's goal of keeping mobile professionals in sync, regardless of device platform or PC application, the latest release of Intellisync software now provides desktop synchronization for the Motorola MPx200 phone from AT&T Wireless and the Samsung SCH-i600 from Verizon Wireless. The product also works with virtually all other key mobile device platforms, including handhelds based on the Palm OS and Pocket PC platforms.

Working in tandem with Windows Mobile software, Intellisync provides Smartphone users with two-way, desktop-based synchronization of email, calendar, contacts and tasks with popular PC applications such as Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express, Lotus Notes, Novell GroupWise, ACT! and more. The new Smartphone synchronization capabilities will be offered through the Company's Intellisync Handheld Edition, Intellisync Handheld Edition for Enterprise and Intellisync Software Development Platform products.
Intellisync software provides a powerful synchronization solution that enables users to keep important information -- appointments, contacts and tasks -- up-to-date between mobile devices and a broad range of PC applications.
