Ekahau Announces Wi-Fi Location Tracking for 802.11 A and G Networks
Saratoga, CA - April 26, 2004 - Ekahau, the leading provider of accurate Wi-Fi positioning solutions and site survey tools, today announced the availability of 802.11 a and g support to the award winning Ekahau Positioning Engine (EPE). Enterprises now have an additional option for location aware services and real-time tracking that can be used on all current commercial modes of Wi-Fi.

The Ekahau Client which allows EPE to locate Wi-Fi -enabled devices and which is a part of the Ekahau Positioning Engine package provides the real-time network measurement data for Ekahau's solutions. By releasing the new Ekahau Client 3.2, Ekahau products support a multitude of 802.11 a, b and g Wi-Fi devices for the Ekahau Positioning Engine. The Ekahau Client 3.2 also adds positioning support for a variety of widely available 802.11B Wi-Fi client devices such as NIC cards, CF-Cards, SD-cards, and PDA's.
