Sun Provides New Java(TM) Technology Games for Mobile Phones


SANTA CLARA, Calif., April 26 -- Sun Microsystems, Inc. (Nasdaq: SUNW - News), the creator and leading advocate of Java(TM) technology, today announced the availability of exciting Java technology-based mobile games developed and published by Sorrent. Such games as FOX Sports Yao Ming Basketball '04, FOX Sports Boxing and FOX Sports Soccer '04 are now available for Sprint PCS Vision subscribers through the java.com Website.

Sprint PCS Vision customers simply enter their phone number on the site, a link to the game is sent to their phone automatically -- taking them to the Sprint PCS Vision vending machine where they can purchase the game. The price for the game is added to their monthly wireless bill.

Sorrent is a leading global creator and publisher of mobile games and other wireless entertainment. Sorrent games that are now available on java.com include FOX Sports Yao Ming Basketball '04, FOX Sports Soccer '04, ALIENS: Unleashed, FOX Sports Multiplayer Racing '04, FOX Sports Racing '04, FOX Sports Boxing '04, FOX Sports Basketball '04 and DuraTrax Mobile RC.
