InphoMatch Industry Experts Share MMS Interop Knowledge at Canadian Wireless Tradeshows
CHANTILLY, Va., April 27 -- InphoMatch CTO Derek Tam and Senior Director of Product Management William Dudley will be featured speakers at concurrent Canadian wireless trade conferences during the first week of May. Both men will address the topic of Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) interoperability, each adding their market acumen to this ever-growing segment of the wireless space. InphoMatch, the leading provider of mobile messaging services and global messaging interoperability, currently delivers 75% of inter-carrier Short Message Service (SMS) messaging in the U.S. Last summer, the company announced an industry-first MMS interop solution that is currently in trials with several top-tier mobile carriers.
Derek Tam will present "Inter-carrier MMS Interoperability: Fundamental Truths and Realities" at the GSMA North American plenary at the Marriott Bloor Yorkville in Toronto on Wednesday, May 5. William Dudley's address, entitled "MMS: All Bets Point Here," will be delivered on Tuesday, May 4 at the Expo Comm Canada Communications 2004 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto. "My presentation will cover a fundamental truth about wireless messaging -- that building upon the same elements that made inter-carrier SMS a great success, such as a ubiquitous P2P network, will also apply to MMS," said Dudley. "Attendees will come away with a plan of action to start an effective inter-carrier MMS strategy that builds on the incredible successes of SMS."
