GIS-Enabled Mobile/Wearable Technologies Focal Point of Xybernaut Participation at ESRI Conference
FAIRFAX, Va. -- Aug. 10, 2004 --
Xybernaut Corporation (NASDAQ:XYBR) today announced that the company will demonstrate mobile/wearable computers integrated with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) solutions during the 24th Annual ESRI International User Conference. The ESRI event is being held this week August 9-13 in San Diego, CA.
-- Visit Xybernaut at Booth #427 located in the San Diego Convention Center. Xybernaut will be exhibiting its industry-leading mobile/wearable computing platforms -- including the Atigo(R) and Mobile Assistant(R) V (MA(R) V) product families.
-- Individuals from Xybernaut as well as Team Xybernaut partners will demonstrate wearable technology capabilities including the use of GIS, location-based technologies, WiFi/wireless communications and on-body computing. Xybernaut solutions will be shown as unique and flexible alternatives to PCs, laptops, Tablet PCs and hand-held/PDAs in the areas of GIS data management and knowledge delivery.
