IBII's Skyy-Fi, Announces The First Beta Test Site For Wi-Fi Hot Spot
LAS VEGAS, Aug. 11, 2004 -- Internet Business's International, Inc. (OTCBB:IBII) announced today that Skyy-Fi, a wholly owned subsidiary of IBII and a wireless Internet solution company, installed its first Wi-Fi Beta test site at Postal Max located at 1057 East Imperial Highway, in Placentia, California. This Postal Max location is one of 5 beta test sites that will be completed this week. Once the testing is complete, Skyy-Fi will begin installing the balance of its locations already under contract.
Wi-Fi industry experts concur regarding the future growth of Wi-Fi Hot Spots and consumer Wi-Fi use over the next decade. In a recent presentation made at 3GSM World Congress by Intel's President and Chief Operating Officer Paul Otellinni, Wi-Fi was identified as integral to the further expansion of mobile computing. And, Pyramid research predicts that there will be 700 million users of Wi-Fi by 2007.
The Skyy-Fi web site (www.SkyyFi.com), for its Wi-Fi services will be updated to include the installed Wi-Fi locations as they become operational.
